Carina Snelling

Therapeutic Counsellor

When my life fell apart after a significant and unexpected life change, I found that talking through my emotions and feelings with a therapist was invaluable.  Through this process I realised that, for a long time, I had not actually been living a happy and fulfilling life.  In fact, for most of my adult life I had been feeling lost and alone, as if I didn't belong.  I had been going through the motions of life and had lost track of who I was and what I needed to be ME.

Working with a therapist, I learnt how to accept who I was and what I needed to be ME.  I was able to start to lay the building blocks for the life I live now.

I trained at the University of Chichester and I have worked as a counsellor within the NHS, a local Hospice and a Women's Centre.  Working with individuals experiencing grief, loss and bereavement.  I have a special interest in helping people who are childless not by choice and those going through a painful relationship breakup.

I am a registered member of the BACP and abide by their ethical framework.
